Day 1: Bishkek to Jeti-Oguz Valley

Drive along the scenic southern shore of Issyk-Kul to the iconic "Seven Bulls" canyons, where red rock formations meet deep green forests. Continue into the high Kok-Jaiyk alpine meadow for a short, refreshing hike to a hidden local waterfall. Experience your first night in a traditional yurt, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the valley. Data: 380km drive, 7km hike. Stay: Yurt Camp.

Day 2: Foot of Oguz-Bashy Peak

Trek toward the massive Oguz-Bashy Peak (5,170m), a mountain so grand it's often compared to the Swiss Alps. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the foot of towering glaciers before beginning the steady ascent toward the base of Telety Pass. The landscape here is wild and pristine, with horses grazing freely in wide-open meadows. Data: 18km hike. Stay: Tent camp.

Day 4: Karakol Peak Panorama

Enjoy a scenic day hike toward the foot of the 5,216m Karakol Peak, the highest in the immediate area. You'll witness dramatic vertical rock walls and hanging glaciers that seem to touch the sky. This is a perfect day for mountain photography and spotting wild mountain goats on the rocky slopes. Data: 15km hike. Stay: Tent/Yurt camp.

Day 5: Ascent to Ala-Kul Lake

Trek through ancient spruce forests and navigate rocky terrain to reach the legendary turquoise Ala-Kul Lake (3,560m). The sight of the lake's brilliant colors framed by sharp ridges is widely considered the highlight of the entire range. Relax by the shore and watch the water change from emerald to deep blue as the sun sets. Data: 13km trek. Stay: Tent camp.

Day 6: Ala-Kul Pass to Altyn-Arashan

Cross the high Ala-Kul Pass (3,900m) for an incredible 360-degree view of the Terskey Ala-Too mountain giants. Descend into the lush Altyn-Arashan valley, where you can reward your tired muscles with a soak in natural volcanic hot springs. The valley's dramatic beauty and pine-scented air make it a favorite for every trekker. Data: 17km trek. Stay: Yurt camp.

Day 7: Arashan Gorge to Bishkek

Enjoy a final morning hike down the winding Arashan valley, following the rushing river through deep canyons. After reaching Ak-Suu village, the transfer back to Bishkek follows the northern lake shore, offering a relaxing end to your mountain journey. Data: 15km hike, 450km drive.
